  • About the Course

The 21st Century is filled with great achievements and great catastrophes. For the majority of Muslims, one of the areas of challenge is understanding our identity. Scores of groups and so-called scholars have arisen over the centuries to try to define “What is Islam is”. This has led to confusion among the youth and the New Muslims.

  • Method

This course is designed to explore the historical roots of the Last Message and the background surrounding the revelation to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and then to show what happened to the Muslim World.

  • Topics

The course will look at the challenges and schismatic divisions such as: a. The Liar Prophets. b. The strange Sects that grew out of the original teachings. c. New concepts that entered into the original Aqeedah (or Creed) of Islam. d. Major invasions that traumatized the Muslim world like the Mongols and the Crusaders.
